Omaha Gives! to Support Local Fashion Designers

The FIM team is excited to announce that we are gearing up to participate in this year’s seventh annual Omaha Gives. We appreciate the outpouring of support we receive from our community as this directly impacts our designers.

The Fashion Institute Midwest (FIM) is a non-profit committed to nurturing aspiring designer talent and supporting the Midwest fashion community. FIM’s mission is to provide regional fashion designers with mentoring, training, resources and industry network opportunities to fulfill their creative potential in the fashion industry.

Please consider supporting aspiring Midwestern fashion designers by contributing to the Omaha Gives 24 campaign, Wednesday, May 22. The minimum donation is $10, and the goal is to muster up as many donations as possible. The organizations with the highest number of donors will receive a prize of $1000, and these will be given out every hour.

Omaha Gives! Day is a 24-hour, online giving event organized annually by the Omaha Community Foundation to grow philanthropy in the metro area.The giving day event will take place this year on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 and will commence promptly at 12:01 a.m. The minimum donation is $10 and there is no maximum. Prizes, Challenge Funds,and Incentive Funds amplify charitable donations. The goal is to inspire the community to come together for 24 hours to contribute as many charitable dollars as possible to support the work of the Fashion Institute Midwest, among other community organizations.
