Please join us at the Fashion Institute Midwest Workroom for an informative afternoon, and learn steps to build your manufacturing business.
Molly O’Brien is a OFW alum and a featured designer on Project Runway Jr.
She will be heading to Omaha to discuss her experience’s in starting a small manufacturing business in Los Angeles.
In addition Tricia Hoke of Hello World Fashion in Los Angeles, will be conducting a Skype interview and sharing insight into the world of start up apparel production.
In the workshop, you will learn fundamentals including:

– Details of design cycles
– Design Feasibility
– How to begin sourcing materials
– How to take your designs from prototypes to final production
– Pros and Cons of on and off shore manufacturing
– Web based Marketing
